Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond launches on December 12 on PC VR platforms. I love World War 2 shooters like Medal of Honor Airborne and Day of Defeat, so one that lets you whack a Nazi in the face with a frying pan was always going to pique my interest.
MEDAL OF HONOR GAME UPGRADE
As of right now, the specs haven't been listed on the game's Oculus or Steam pages, which are a better gauge of the requirements for the average player.Ībove and Beyond is still one of my most anticipated VR titles, but I am bummed I'm going to need a hardware upgrade before being able to enjoy it properly. With 16 Medal of Honor games in all, some will be better than others so let’s focus on the best the series has to offer.
MEDAL OF HONOR GAME 720P
They're ones given to the press, who Respawn and EA would like to guarantee have the best possible experience – someone reviewing your game being forced to play it at 720p and 30FPS probably won't have as positive an impression of it as someone running at full speed and maximum fidelity. It's worth noting that these aren't the formal, official specs. Stars: William Bassett, Steve Blum, Steve Bulen, Cam Clarke. Using anything at your disposal, you will fight your way from Arzew to Omaha Beach, and then straight into the heart of the Third Reich. The original Titanfall was infamous for its 35GB of uncompressed audio, bringing it up to 48GB, which while quaint now, was a big ask for the time. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault drops you into World War II as American Lieutenant Mike Powell. While it's easy to suggest this is a big, detailed VR game, and so possibly justifies its large size, Respawn does have some notoriety for optimized file sizes.

It looks great, but does Above And Beyond really justify such high requirements? EA, Respawn Entertainment
